Mr. Robert Malpass is the Deputy Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer (DCDAO) for the Intelligence Mission Area for the Department of War (DoW) within Research & Engineering (R&E). In this role, he leads work integrating and applying intelligence community data to critical warfighting problems and is responsible for maximizing the utility of intelligence data to achieve warfighting outcomes.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Malpass served as a Special Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of War for Critical Technologies. He also worked for Palantir Technologies, served on the staff of the White House National Economic Council as Associate Director for Technology, Telecommunication, and Cyber policy, and worked as a research analyst and data scientist at the International Finance Corporation.
Mr. Malpass earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.
