Ms. Elizabeth (Liz) Chirico is the War Data Platform Program Director for the Department of War (DoW) within Research & Engineering (R&E), Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO). In her role, she leads the War Data Platform and is spearheading its transition from the Advana team into the new platform. The War Data Platform will build on Advana's success by focusing on the core data integration layer and providing standardized, secure data access to accelerate the development of agentic AI and other applications across the Department, enhancing decision support while maintaining strong governance.
With over 16 years of experience, Ms. Chirico has a notable history of driving acquisition reform and innovation within the Army. She is credited with delivering the Army's first contracting Robotic Process Automation (RPA) bot, known as “DORA.”
Ms. Chirico holds a Master of Science in Acquisition and Contract Management from the Florida Institute of Technology, a Master of Studies in Law from the George Washington University Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature & Language from the University of Mary Washington. She is a Level III certified contracting professional and a member of the Army Acquisition Corps.
